“The way people come into your life when you need them, it's wonderful and it happens in so many ways. It's like having an angel. Somebody comes along and helps you get right. You see, we are here, as far as I can tell, to help each other; our brothers, our sisters, our friends, our enemies. That is to help each other and not hurt each other. ”
— Stevie Ray Vaughan

Clint & The Cosmic Wake is a Texas based blues rock band with an eclectic foundation marrying the group's collective influences of gospel, blues, metal, and rock. Clint Echols (vocals, lead guitar) began playing live in the ‘90s with seasoned musicians in places like the “Chinkapin” in Uncertain, TX. Since those days, Clint's riffs have manifested in the hard rock/metal bands Goodwill Ammunition and Merciful Pete. Circumstances pushed him further down the path & connected him with his mentor Alan Fox. Clint eventually paired up with rhythm master “Flute Man” Greg McDonald (drums), who began drumming 40 years ago playing in his father’s Country band between sermons at church. Dan Giddens (bass) spent nearly a decade playing bass guitar in metal bands before adding his dark spice to the crew. April Echols contributes crafty harmonies, rhythm guitar, and writes unhinged lyrics to melodies you cannot fit in a box. The band has a singular style of songwriting showcased in their wildcard originals and Texas blues rock riffs.
